チカラ（ボーカル）、ジュンタ（ギター）、マーサー（ベース）、ユウイチ（ドラム）の4人組。沖縄県出身。

2008年、中学校で出会った4人が集まり「Civilian Skunk」を結成する（2012年現在は高校3年生）。結成後オリジナル楽曲を多数制作する傍ら、ライブを勢力的に行いパフォーマンスの実力をつけていく。

2010年、日本全国次世代バンドを紹介する番組『ストリートファイターズ（通称、ストファイ）』ではHジェネ祭り沖縄地区大会で2位。同年、「Okinawa Teens Live 2010」で優勝。また、沖縄県内の中高生がアツいバトルを繰り広げる「FIGHTING OF MUSIC（通称、FOM）」で優勝を果たすなど、数々のオーディションで賞を総なめにする。

2011年、那覇ハーリー・メインステージに出演し1万人の前でライブを行う。7月には沖縄市最大の野外イベント・ピースフルラブロックフェスティバルに出演、8月には大阪の祭りに出演を果たした。また9月に行われたCD発売記念ライブは850人以上のお客様が集まり大成功をおさめた。

6月からスタートしたブルーシールの新CMソングに「Summer Lover」が起用され、ボーカル・チカラはCMに出演中。RBCの情報番組・沖縄BON!!の8月度エンディングソングに「I miss you」が決定、10月から放送が始まるOTV・ハルサーエイカーのエンディングソングに「01」が起用されている（オープニングはMONGOL 800）。

The four members of this band, Chikara (vocals), Junta (guitar), Ma-sa- (bass), and Yu-ichi (drums), are all from Okinawa and are currently in their senior year in high school. They met in 2008 as junior high school students and formed Civilian Skunk. Upon forming the band, they actively created their own sounds, writing numerous original tracks and gained experience in performing live. They are known for their powerful, energetic performances and in 2010, they were the runner-up in the Okinawa area contest for Street Fighters, a show that introduces Japan’s next generation of musicians. In the same year, they won the Okinawa Teens Live 2010, as well as the Fighting of Music, a music contest where Okinawa’s junior and high school students gather to display their talents. Civilian Skunk has won countless awards and recognition in various events and auditions. Over 850 fans gathered for their live performance to celebrate their CD release in September 2011, and they are sure to see more and more success in their bright futures.
